When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they knew there was no going back. Ashley aged seventeen at the time, and hadn't had an affair before, decided to take the time to get acquainted. The couple immediately fell in love. Andrew requested God to bless him on New Years Eve just before the year's end, to grant him one more blessing to the year 2016. Andrew wanted Ashley to agree. Ashley was looking for an authentic folk-style wedding that represented both her and Andrew. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley was a child on the 40-acre land that was picked as the location for their wedding. Ashley and Andrew enjoyed exploring, played, and hiked the whole trail leading to the location in which they got married "I will" to Ashley. Andrew, Ashley and their acquaintances had walked through this area several times when they began dating. Because almost everything was made by the bride and groom, personalization was important. Andrew and Ashley's father built their seating area as well as the arch used for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of these decorations. Ashley states that we could never have the amazing wedding I envisioned if the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral designs. Absolutely stunning.
